Courtney Alaniz is a licensed immigration attorney with more than a decade of experience working on complex U.S. immigration matters, spanning both family-based and employment-based cases. She currently serves as an Immigration Attorney at Alma.

Before joining Alma, Courtney worked at Fragomen, one of the nation’s leading immigration law firms, where she managed U.S. immigration programs for multinational corporations and advised on complex extraordinary ability and national interest waiver (NIW) program strategies. Earlier in her career, she built experience at Jaime Barron PC, Ogletree Deakins, and IBM, handling high-volume employment-based visa work, as well as humanitarian and family-based matters. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she brings a well-rounded background spanning consular and USCIS interview prep, compliance, and cross-border talent mobility to every client she serves.
